Pasquale Marinelli

Pasquale Marinelli was born in Chisholm, Minn. June 17, 1915 to Michael and Francesca Pistilli Marinelli. He had two brothers Antonio (Tom) and Orlando and three sisters Antoinette , Adeline and Lillian. In Rye his family lived on Maple Drive and were members of the Church of the Resurrection.

Pasquale enlisted and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Louise Patricia Glennon on November 22, 1941 in New Hampshire, and they lived in Maryland.

Anthony worked in construction in Hyattsville before founding his own company.After the war he lived in Maryland and from 1950 to about 1970, he owned Glenmar Construction Co., whose work included the Metro and sewer lines. For several years after he retired, his Leader Publishing Co. published the Montgomery County Billboard.

He worked in construction in Hyattsville before founding his company. He was president of the Rockville Rotary Club and the Northern Virginia chapter of the Heavy Construction Contractors Association and cofounder of the National Utility Contractors Association.

He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Kensington and Congressional Country Club. His interests included golf.

Pasquale Michael ''Pat'' Marinelli, 88, a retired utilities contractor who published an advertiser in Rockville, died of a heart attack Oct. 10, 20p03 at his home in Rockville. His wife, Louise Marinelli, died in 1999.

At the time of his death, survivors included a son, Dr. Glenn Marinelli of Dunkirk; a sister, Ann Bufalo of Rockville; a brother, Antonio Marinelli of Bethesda; and two grandchildren.
